AICE Media Studies

 For the final task this year I will be working alone. I came to this decision after not being able to find any group mates. While doing it with a group would have been more productive in my opinion, doing it alone is the only option as of now. Luckily, I’m already used to doing things on my own. As evidenced from last year I can create a project on my own with little to no help. I only hope that it can be as fun as my commercial project from last year. Only thing is now the project will be more expansive, being five minutes long and a short film.  I have to think of everything on my own, so researching will be vital and go a long way this year. Maybe after today there will be a person or two left over that can join me. All in all, I’m looking forward the task ahead.

      Hi, my name's Erickson Sanon. I am a senior here at Fort Lauderdale High School. I am happy to be back in AICE Media this year. It is going to be a different experience than last year with everyone being back in school. While last year’s assignments were fun I felt limited. On projects where I could have multiple partners, I kept things limited using family as actors or someone behind the camera. I can’t wait to start another final task for this year. I believe I’m more knowledgeable now than my junior year, and intend to prove it. Filming, editing and researching was a handful but nonetheless it was worth it. I enjoy films more now because of what I know. Understanding why a director chose to use a certain camera angle in a scene for example. Watching movies like The Little Things or Zodiac is fun because of the details. The mise-en-scenes and CLAMPS all are intriguing when watching these films.
