                            Starting the Final Task 

        My name's Erickson Sanon.  This blog is the beginning of many that belong to the final task of the year. For my final task of the year though I will be working alone. Why did I choose to work alone you may be thinking. Since the beginning of the year, I've completed productions on my own, this decision came due the current state of the country right now. I did not want to take any chances with COVID-19 still being out and about. I was apart of the fall football team during the other productions also, which meant contracting the virus would be devastating to the season. There is a vaccine out now, but it's still a hassle. Plus, I believe working alone is the best way to not have any mix-ups. In my opinion, I believe that my creativity can be the best, because my imagination is endless. Thinking of a plot to a movie, or any type of production is just fun for me. Pitching or creating a film whether it's comedy, dramatic, or horror, has been something I've thought about for a while now. I wouldn't do anything to try and tarnish the reputation of this class, especially cheating. That's for hacks without an imagination to be blunt. Why even join the class in the first place, y'know. To stay on topic of the upcoming final task, though, I am going to do  my best on this. I actually believe that this will be my best production due to my previous experiences. Working on those productions have prepared me for this one. It will be nothing but true determination through this time. Thank you for reading.

I started the opening of the play with a gradual opening to create a bit of suspense but, also to give the audience some time to get ready. The added track shot also adds a feel of the audience being their walking with jack, it's overall more intimate. Then after the track shot, there is a fast shot of the play and or movie getting straight to the point. (starting the show) The black screen transition is untimely to show the audience that one scene has ended and that was moving on to something else. This helps with older audience viewers as well guiding them to the next scene. The close-up shots added also add drama with it being a shot that happens out of nowhere. Also, the back and forth shots of jack's pacing add suspense as well to over exaggerate the feeling that's taking place.                                                  Research Blog: Soft (2007)               Soft (2007) is a tense short film drama directed by Simon Ellis. The film is fifteen minutes long and depicts the terrorizing of a father and son by neighborhood teens. Throughout the film we see the emotions of the characters. The father remains visibly scared of the young teens but the son remains angry. The director uses close ups to give the audience a better understanding of the characters emotions. The conflict of the film is that while they are being terrorized the father doesn’t want to retaliate because of his fear and tries to keep the son from doing anything. Planning for my Spalding Basketball commercial

                                                           Planning Blog  Props   There won't really be too much if any props in the commercial. Costumes   In the commercial, the actor(s) will have on appropriate gym clothes. He will wear athletic gym shorts, with a tank top that is playable in. Basketball shoes would have to be mandatory, for grip on the court and best performance. The actor may wear compression tights, depending on the conditions.
