Filming Music Video
Day one of filming was a productive day. My choice of actors were the same as my last production. I was already comfortable with the actor and did not have anyone else who wanted to participate. So, the actor and I are carrying the production once again. First day of filming had to be held off for an hour and thirty minutes because of a missing actor. This really messed up the scheduling of the day. We were able to film about half of the scenes that are in my storyboard. It was getting dark at around 5. This was good for filming some scenes like the car and indoor scenes. Although, the scenes I wanted to get done would have to be done in some actual lighting to perfectly capture the scene. The car scenes that were filmed had to be retaken multiple times. The actor kept laughing and ruined a lot of shots. In result of the actor laughing, I laughed and ruined some recording of some shots. My establishing shot scene was taken multiple times, only because I was trying to be a perfectionist and was not satisfied. When it comes to filming I get into a very serious mood, but with my choice of actor(s) I become more relaxed. Very comfortable around the actor since he is family, I don't think I can be like that around other people as actors. Costumes were a visual 'pop' in the videos, only one costume was used first day though. Below is a picture of myself, filming the establishing shot. As you can see the costume is very similar to what rappers wear in rap music videos. Hope the video comes out better than even expected.
