Planning for my Music Video

Song Title: The song I will be using in the music video is "Got It on Me" by Pop Smoke. The song would have t be the radio edit version due to profanity in the song. 

Props: Since it's a rap song  the props involved would have to be "flashy" like most rap videos are. The context of the song also, implies having a lot, since he "got it" on him. So, the props would be the cars used in the vid. Also, fake prop jewelry to resemble the actual ones rappers wear.

Costumes: The actor(s) costumes consist of jeans, ripped and regular. Hoodies that show expensiveness, like $50+ Hollister hoodies. There will also be shirts, like Polo, Versace, Michael Kors, Burberry, etc. Shoes will be sneakers, brands will vary.

Schedule: The music video's production will begin officially next week, on the 23rd of November. This week was chosen because it is the only time everyone involved will available for filming. The costumes would be ready for use by then after the previous weekend, all of them would be properly washed. 

Location: There will be numerous locations used for filming, the main set would be the entire apartment complex of Somerset Condominiums. Second, would be on the road in a car, hopefully nothing goes wrong during this part of the filming. Not too confident in the actors driving ability. Those will be the only locations used in filming. 

Backup Plan: If cars can not be utilized in the video, then I would have the actor just stand near the car showing ownership. If the actor can not make it to production, I'll just appear in it myself. Unlike my commercial, I don't see any problems arising in filming. Hopefully we can get through the production smoothly.

Comparing 9, the short, and 9, the full length movie

Watching the extract I had many different feelings towards it. I felt it was a bit boring at first due to no sound/ audio. Also, the action came around a bit longer than expected. The plot started off with some robots looking for something. That happened to be a light bulb, eventually, something that was lurking in the shadow popped out. But during the mystery of what was lurking definitely struck excitement in what was going to happen next. There were many special effects seeing that it was a more futuristic movie with robots. So very cool camera effects or CGI. The full-length film was meatier in all the different things it explained that I was confused about in the short film. The moral of the story gave the full story to what was going on. The plot development was a bit longer than the short film because they had to show the back story.                                                  Research Blog: Soft (2007)               Soft (2007) is a tense short film drama directed by Simon Ellis. The film is fifteen minutes long and depicts the terrorizing of a father and son by neighborhood teens. Throughout the film we see the emotions of the characters. The father remains visibly scared of the young teens but the son remains angry. The director uses close ups to give the audience a better understanding of the characters emotions.
