                    Title Research: Art of the Title Website 

    The Art of the Title website is a resourceful, website when it comes to title research. It gives insight into how title art does not have to be bland, or boring for viewers. It also tells how a title can be created to closely relate to its premise or plot. Makes me want to be creative with my own title creation. The opening sequence coming up is the best way I can utilize some of the things in this website. When it comes to designing and drawing things up, my vision isn’t great at doing so. It’s nice that there are websites like these to inspire some creativity. And teach about many other title sequences. Follow the link to the website. Great means of information.

I started the opening of the play with a gradual opening to create a bit of suspense but, also to give the audience some time to get ready. The added track shot also adds a feel of the audience being their walking with jack, it's overall more intimate. Then after the track shot, there is a fast shot of the play and or movie getting straight to the point. (starting the show) The black screen transition is untimely to show the audience that one scene has ended and that was moving on to something else. This helps with older audience viewers as well guiding them to the next scene. The close-up shots added also add drama with it being a shot that happens out of nowhere. Also, the back and forth shots of jack's pacing add suspense as well to over exaggerate the feeling that's taking place.                                                  Research Blog: Soft (2007)               Soft (2007) is a tense short film drama directed by Simon Ellis. The film is fifteen minutes long and depicts the terrorizing of a father and son by neighborhood teens. Throughout the film we see the emotions of the characters. The father remains visibly scared of the young teens but the son remains angry. The director uses close ups to give the audience a better understanding of the characters emotions. The conflict of the film is that while they are being terrorized the father doesn’t want to retaliate because of his fear and tries to keep the son from doing anything. Planning for my Spalding Basketball commercial

                                                           Planning Blog  Props   There won't really be too much if any props in the commercial. Costumes   In the commercial, the actor(s) will have on appropriate gym clothes. He will wear athletic gym shorts, with a tank top that is playable in. Basketball shoes would have to be mandatory, for grip on the court and best performance. The actor may wear compression tights, depending on the conditions. Schedule   On 10/22/2020, I  will research conventions of basketball commercials.  On 10/23/2020, I will create the storyboard for the 1 minute commercial.  On 10/24/2020, I will agree and establish with the actor on the location, props, costumes, schedule and  the backup plan if needed.
