 - What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?  

    First displayed is the production and distribution company. The title of the movie, "Lady Bird" was displayed. Who was responsible for casting. Directors of different departments like Photo and the film. The costume and production designer, music supervisor, editor,  and who created the music. Then of course the producers were displayed followed by the writer and director, Greta Gerwig. 

- What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? 

A lot of the images displayed are of the assembly of the catholic school that the title character attends. 

 - What connotations do these images carry? 

That the life of our main character is organized and composed at school, which may not be said when it comes to her.

 - How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset? 

The film gives a feeling of boredom as the opening sequence begins with the main character being out of it in most scenes.

- What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience? 

It's showing what goes on in a teens life during school, which would support its coming of age theme for its teen audience. 

- How has technology been used effectively? You want to consider camera angles, transitions and editing techniques. 

During the opening scene the technology used is vitalized in editing. A constant change or cuts to different scenes occur. Wide shots captured surrounding and identifies the demeanor of the films.
