Over the past weekend I began filming the rest of the scenes that belong to my final task. The exiting of each other’s apartments and walking down stairs. The meet up for the two character was a scene that was left out for now until the proper way to handle the camera can be found. Needed to have a  shaky, handheld feeling. An outside party will have to be added to the production process. On the second  day of filming last weekend, the production started late. Time had changed and the second actor did not receive enough sleep. To think of it, the acting was subpar compared to the rest of the dates which we filmed. Other conditions was noticed that would be confusing when cut together. The condition of the haircuts were a factor that changed. Hair growth and line ups weren’t what they were at the beginning of filming. That’s why on Sunday afternoon with the films budget we each received haircuts and filming will resume on Wednesday. Editing is going to be good with spring break coming up. There won’t be anything else in my mind to affect the process. Also any retakes that need to be taken can happen smoothly, and without worry. That’s for another blog to be completed. Right know enjoy a screenshot of one of our takes, me leaving the home.

I started the opening of the play with a gradual opening to create a bit of suspense but, also to give the audience some time to get ready. The added track shot also adds a feel of the audience being their walking with jack, it's overall more intimate. Then after the track shot, there is a fast shot of the play and or movie getting straight to the point. (starting the show) The black screen transition is untimely to show the audience that one scene has ended and that was moving on to something else. This helps with older audience viewers as well guiding them to the next scene. The close-up shots added also add drama with it being a shot that happens out of nowhere. Also, the back and forth shots of jack's pacing add suspense as well to over exaggerate the feeling that's taking place.                                                  Research Blog: Soft (2007)               Soft (2007) is a tense short film drama directed by Simon Ellis. The film is fifteen minutes long and depicts the terrorizing of a father and son by neighborhood teens. Throughout the film we see the emotions of the characters. The father remains visibly scared of the young teens but the son remains angry. The director uses close ups to give the audience a better understanding of the characters emotions. The conflict of the film is that while they are being terrorized the father doesn’t want to retaliate because of his fear and tries to keep the son from doing anything. Planning for my Spalding Basketball commercial

                                                           Planning Blog  Props   There won't really be too much if any props in the commercial. Costumes   In the commercial, the actor(s) will have on appropriate gym clothes. He will wear athletic gym shorts, with a tank top that is playable in. Basketball shoes would have to be mandatory, for grip on the court and best performance. The actor may wear compression tights, depending on the conditions.
