Final Task: First Round            I had fun making this project and enjoyed the process. The video found its stride early but the middle wasn't the best honestly. I hope you enjoy it.

Filming and Editing Blog: Final Task

Filming and Editing Blog: Final Task  Unlike the rest of my blogs this is a combination of filming and editing. For the last few days I’ve been going over everything in the final task. I just was not satisfied with some scenes. Some of my scenes to be exact just wasn’t filmed right. We shot those scenes over again. It’s not that they weren’t alright it was just some cues that could be noticeable. I’m heedful when it comes to that. After filming though I already had the spaces filled and ready to replace. I have to saying is  considerably easier than first time inserting them in. I’ve changed some transitions though of the video. Felt like it needed to be more fluent in transition than before. The music I’ve embedded was hard to get clean audio on. I couldn’t just download the music for use.  I had to be completely alone and makes sure no other sound bites interfered. I’ve done all ...

Editing Blog: Final Task

Editing Blog: Final Task  Over the weekend I was trying to figure out how to edit my credits. After trying to figure it out on my own, I resorted to Google. After clicking on each title I had to click the text button that is above the video. After doing so I had a selection of options to choose from. You can input the text that you wanted to use. I used my opening credits of course and edited from there. There were a lot of different title styles to choose from, for example, the "Smoke" title. It’s similar to some movies I’ve seen like "Friday". I only used styles that looked the most professional though and went with the style of the movie. “Fade" was the first type of title that I used. It’s similar to what you see in most movies when they’re letting you know about the production company. I had to make sure my font...

Editing Blog: Final Task

Editing Blog: Final Task During the editing process this week I’ve hit a snag. It’s harder than I thought to add the titles to the project at hand. I’ve chosen my type of subtitle to add on the project. However editing the text is the problem. I already have the titles planned in order. First would be "Erickson Sanon Presents" Then, "Erickson Sanon Pictures" Next would be my actor credits, "Erickson Sanon" and "Allen Petit" After which would be the film title, "" Next would be the casting credit, which was by me. The music by credit will go to. The visual effects is by me again. The costume design credits goes to me and Allen. Editing credit goes to me once again. I decided on the locations and design of the movie so the production designer credit goes to me. Director of photography goes to me as I was the one who f...

Editing Blog: Final Task

Editing Blog: Final Task  This past weekend I began the process of editing for the final task. I wanted to use the iMovie application because it was so highly recommended. However, it cannot be downloaded upon a Windows PC. The only laptop I have available to me is a Windows PC unfortunately. I reverted back to Clipchamp but I contemplated also editing it upon my iPhone. During the music video project using ClipChamp was difficult due to the app glitching. That’s why this time I was going to be editing on two devices to see which produces the best results. During editing on ClipChamp however the process has been smooth. I’ve cut some seconds from some of my scenes that were too long. One of the establishing shots, for example, was ten seconds too long so I had to cut some time there. Like I thought though some of my scenes aren’t going to be able to make the time limit. Well more like h...

Editing Blog: Final Task

Editing Blog: Final Task  Over the past few days I’ve been surveying what application to use for the editing process. For the final task I need to be able to add titles, cuts, and sounds. On previous projects I used the ClipChamp application. While it was useful at the time, it did give me problems last time I used it. I’d rather have something more reliable now. I’m hearing that iMovie is an editing application that’ll work fine. There’s also Openshot to use. For now I’m going to research and try both applications and see what I can do best for the project. Below is a photo I’ve seen for the iMovie app. Looks like it has everything I need for the final task.
