                      Filming and Editing Blog: Final Task 

Unlike the rest of my blogs this is a combination of filming and editing. For the last few days I’ve been going over everything in the final task. I just was not satisfied with some scenes. Some of my scenes to be exact just wasn’t filmed right. We shot those scenes over again. It’s not that they weren’t alright it was just some cues that could be noticeable. I’m heedful when it comes to that. After filming though I already had the spaces filled and ready to replace. I have to saying is  considerably easier than first time inserting them in. I’ve changed some transitions though of the video. Felt like it needed to be more fluent in transition than before.The music I’ve embedded was hard to get clean audio on. I couldn’t just download the music for use.  I had to be completely alone and makes sure no other sound bites interfered. I’ve done all of this to make sure the final product is the best it can be. Below you can find a photo of part of a scene from the project. Tomorrow is going to be my Final Task, and I hope it’s as good to other people as it is to me.

I started the opening of the play with a gradual opening to create a bit of suspense but, also to give the audience some time to get ready. The added track shot also adds a feel of the audience being their walking with jack, it's overall more intimate. Then after the track shot, there is a fast shot of the play and or movie getting straight to the point. (starting the show) The black screen transition is untimely to show the audience that one scene has ended and that was moving on to something else. This helps with older audience viewers as well guiding them to the next scene. The close-up shots added also add drama with it being a shot that happens out of nowhere. Also, the back and forth shots of jack's pacing add suspense as well to over exaggerate the feeling that's taking place. Research Blog: Soft (2007)

                                                 Research Blog: Soft (2007)               Soft (2007) is a tense short film drama directed by Simon Ellis. The film is fifteen minutes long and depicts the terrorizing of a father and son by neighborhood teens. Throughout the film we see the emotions of the characters. The father remains visibly scared of the young teens but the son remains angry. The director uses close ups to give the audience a better understanding of the characters emotions. The conflict of the film is that while they are being terrorized the father doesn’t want to retaliate because of his fear and tries to keep the son from doing anything. Planning for my Spalding Basketball commercial

                                                           Planning Blog  Props   There won't really be too much if any props in the commercial. Costumes   In the commercial, the actor(s) will have on appropriate gym clothes. He will wear athletic gym shorts, with a tank top that is playable in. Basketball shoes would have to be mandatory, for grip on the court and best performance. The actor may wear compression tights, depending on the conditions.
