This past weekend I began the process of editing for the final task. I wanted to use the iMovie application because it was so highly recommended. However, it cannot be downloaded upon a Windows PC. The only laptop I have available to me is a Windows PC unfortunately. I reverted back to Clipchamp but I contemplated also editing it upon my iPhone. During the music video project using ClipChamp was difficult due to the app glitching. That’s why this time I was going to be editing on two devices to see which produces the best results. During editing on ClipChamp however the process has been smooth. I’ve cut some seconds from some of my scenes that were too long. One of the establishing shots, for example, was ten seconds too long so I had to cut some time there. Like I thought though some of my scenes aren’t going to be able to make the time limit. Well more like half actually. The only thing I have to do now is finish my transitions. They are just subtle changes though nothing too complicated. After finishing I will begin adding my titles to the scenes. Hopefully after my next blog I will be finished with my final task. I couldn’t decide whether to add two photos showing what I had done with iMovie also. It’s irrelevant now though. ClipChamp hasn’t given any problems through the editing process. Here’s a photo of what I already have embedded and the styles of titles I have to choose from.

I started the opening of the play with a gradual opening to create a bit of suspense but, also to give the audience some time to get ready. The added track shot also adds a feel of the audience being their walking with jack, it's overall more intimate. Then after the track shot, there is a fast shot of the play and or movie getting straight to the point. (starting the show) The black screen transition is untimely to show the audience that one scene has ended and that was moving on to something else. This helps with older audience viewers as well guiding them to the next scene. The close-up shots added also add drama with it being a shot that happens out of nowhere. Also, the back and forth shots of jack's pacing add suspense as well to over exaggerate the feeling that's taking place. Research Blog: Soft (2007)

                                                 Research Blog: Soft (2007)               Soft (2007) is a tense short film drama directed by Simon Ellis. The film is fifteen minutes long and depicts the terrorizing of a father and son by neighborhood teens. Throughout the film we see the emotions of the characters. The father remains visibly scared of the young teens but the son remains angry. The director uses close ups to give the audience a better understanding of the characters emotions. The conflict of the film is that while they are being terrorized the father doesn’t want to retaliate because of his fear and tries to keep the son from doing anything. Planning for my Spalding Basketball commercial

                                                           Planning Blog  Props   There won't really be too much if any props in the commercial. Costumes   In the commercial, the actor(s) will have on appropriate gym clothes. He will wear athletic gym shorts, with a tank top that is playable in. Basketball shoes would have to be mandatory, for grip on the court and best performance. The actor may wear compression tights, depending on the conditions.
