Scouting Locations

This week I am trying to find locations that will be our filming locations. For the school scenes we will need and from what understand it will have to be neutral. From the scenes we have already established in our script we just need somewhere that can resemble a class, halls and also a track. The track can be done at a park but there aren't many that have school resembling tracks. Joseph Carter Park is a park that has a variety of activities including a track but finding a time when filming can be done is difficult. Being a community park it's used for a mixture of events from youth track meets to 7v7 football tournaments. The weather is also a factor in our filming. Down here in South Florida the weather is unpredictable, being January there's going to be rain, and somehow the temperature is going to be both cold and hot. Having to find a time where we can film without being in the way of other people is going to be a challenge also. However, I believe I can find a flexible time able for the actors and I to film. Now the only location that is left is the "school" resembling environment. I have come up with an idea for this location that is ideal for the scenes planned. At my home I do have some areas where there isn't any furniture and can be used multiple times. Conversations can be filmed against the walls during the classroom scenes as well as the interactions in the hallways. The hope is however that it will look well enough during the filming and editing stage. Here is a photo of the park mentioned earlier that will be used for filming.
